    In the article it’s stated to avoid -”Simple Carbohydrates (white bread/white rice/white pasta/etc)”

    The examples listed are complex carbs, not simple carbs.

    Simple carbs are small chain (direct) sugar compounds, such as; glucose, fructose, sucrose, lactose etc…

    Complex carbs are from starches, any starches, whether it’s white or not doesn’t matter… They form long chain structures and are broken down by your body into glucose.
